WA’s largest annual Aboriginal art exhibition and art market at the Fremantle Arts Centre will showcase 70 artists, 27 WA Aboriginal art centres and 12 independent artists.

And the Art Market will return 100 per cent of sales to artists and art centres.

Now open until August 4, the exhibition will feature a diversity of styles, including painting, drawing, silk print, linocut, textiles, photography, animation, and glass sculpture.

“As an Aboriginal-led and governed body, Aboriginal Art Centre Hub WA provides a genuine and deeply rooted perspective on the Aboriginal art scene across Western Australia,” chief executive Chad Creighton said.

“We work all year round with Aboriginal art centres across the State, and by working closely with artists to reflect their aspirations and needs, we hope this year’s Revealed can increase its impact for the sector.”

Among the artists on display, several group form the Pilbara: Yinjaa-Barni Art, Martumili Artists and Juluwarlu Art Group, will feature including Kennedy Finlay, Lynette Rowlands and Sharon Porter.

The East Pilbara Arts Centre has an amazing display of Indigenous arts and crafts.
