Partnership to honour National Reconciliation Week
In honour of National Reconciliation Week (May 27 – June 3), Chargrill Charlie’s has teamed up with Corey Grech – a proud Gamilaraay and Wonnarua man and founder of Native Botanical Brewery – to launch a special limited-edition Bush Myrtle Crunch Salad (RRP $8.90).
Available exclusively at Chargrill Charlie’s Marrickville store in Sydney, this creation reimagines one of their cult-favourite salads using a native blend of ingredients including lemon myrtle, aniseed myrtle, cinnamon myrtle and dried saltbush.
For Corey, who grew up in the Marrickville and Newtown area, this collaboration is a way of sharing a story through flavour, connecting community, and spotlighting the world’s oldest living food culture in an everyday, accessible way.
This initiative is part of Craveable Brands’ second Reconciliation Action Plan, reinforcing their commitment to meaningful, local-first collaboration and the elevation of First Nations voices.
