The Council will use an $180,000 Federal Government grant to fund a study by Edith Cowan University to look at what Chinese tourists’ needs are, including the often noted problems of travel outside of the Perth metro area.

The tourism council’s chief executive Robert Taylor says the study should be finished by October and it is hoped will assist tourism operators tap into the Chinese visitor market.
