The Koordak NAIDOC Festival will provide a superb platform for Aboriginal performers on September 21 with musicians and performers showcasing their talents and sharing their stories at Coolamon Oval, Ellenbrook – east of Perth.
The Bigarrda Aboriginal Dancers and Didgeridoo Performers will launch the festival, which begins at 3pm, followed by a wide range of activities and performances.
Singers Taija, Koordak Koolingart and Khyrie, and rapper NSB 6IX will be on stage as well the fabulous Natasha Blurton and her band.
There will also be a range of children’s activities (sensory tent, bouncy castle, gaming pod, cuddly farm), cultural performances, sand art, and interactive booths where attendees will have the opportunity to engage with and learn Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.
