The Koordak Art and Culture development initiative has launched a number of events and programs in Perth’s Eastern suburbs aimed at promoting and preserving Noongar heritage.

Based in the suburb of Ellenbrook the Koordak community is hosting weekly workshops, open arts forums and monthly gatherings to celebrate Noongar culture.

And they have recently launched a residency program for 2025 that will provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander/Noongar Artists a nurturing space for artistic expression and cultural exploration.

With well-equipped studios and consumable resources, artists can bring their visions to life.
