National park death under investigation

WorkSafe in WA is investigating the death of a Parks and Wildlife ranger in an East Kimberley national park.

A Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions spokesperson said the ranger died in the Purnululu National Park last month following an unexpected medical episode.

The department said the ranger was a valued staff member and had sent its condolences to the man’s family, friends and colleagues.
