New pay deal for WA Police liaison officers

WA Police Aboriginal liaison officers will see a 12.75 per cent pay rise over three years after the State government reached a deal with the WAPolice Union Board tis weak.

Officers will receive a wage increase of 5 per cent in the first year, followed by 4 per cent in 2025 and 3.75 per cent in 2026.

The deal also provides several new and improved conditions of employment – including the largest increase in shift allowances in more than 20 years.

“We welcome the improved pay conditions for all of those officers who work day in, day out to keep the WA community safe,” Police Minister Paul Papalia said.
