NSW has named six Indigenous players in its squad for the 2024 State of Origin series against Queensland with game one set for Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on May 16.

Prop forward Caitlan Johnston, main picture, Gold Coast winger Jaime Chapman, club teammate Taliah Fuimaono, second rower Olivia Kernick, lock and debutante Grace Kemp and Cowboys halfback Kirra Dibb make up the six who will be part of the Blues team aiming for a series win after narrowly losing out to the Maroons in 2023.

Queensland will have two Indigenous All-Stars in their lineup, fullback Tamika Upton and lock Keilee Joseph from the Brisbane Broncos.
