Sweet smell of success for Jalbi

March 25, 2025

By PETER ROWE

2024 has been an amazing year for Jalbi with solid growth in sales and an expanded range of products.

Jalbi’s array of natural products, including scents, hand sanitisers and candles has seen Yawuru woman Mandy Gadson and business partner Kym Hawkins working non-stop to attend festivals and markets throughout WA.

They recently released a new room spray, a pillow spray and some new candles in travel tins, plus two new body mists.

“It’s been a great year,” Mandy told ibnews.com.au

“And in we are hoping to really expand our retail presence, and look at becoming ready for International opportunities.

“We are proud to have all production ‘in house’ with everything made here in Boorloo/Perth, and hope to expand our Aboriginal supply chain and possibly staff base.”
